  • Description of Service

Hemingway Agency (“We”, “Us”, or “The agency”) help students by providing equal access to competitive certified English courses and programs in premium locations in the United States and via Online (Real-Time) classes. Also, we provide personalized guidance and assistance through Zoom meetings in the process of coming to the United States, by filling out forms for the school (I-20), U.S Government (SEVIS), and U.S Embassies and Consulates (DS-160) for the “F-1 Student Visa” interview.

Students get advice on every step of the process until they start their classes. We provide access to a platform with self-explanatory videos on how to fill out our forms, and most importantly how to perform a great interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Our availability is from 8:00 AM to 8 PM (EST) from Mondays to Fridays, students can reach us out whenever they need it through any of our contact channels, such as social media, phone calls, chats, and email.

Hemingway Agency, Inc. is a private organization, and we are not affiliated with any government. The immigration services we offer can be applied for elsewhere directly with the government for free.

We do not offer our services to any of the U.S. sanctioned countries: Embargoed & Sanctioned Countries.

  • Payments

All payments must be received in full 30 days prior to the course starting date. The payment should include all fees (Registration and Advisory, SEVIS, and Processing) and tuition. So, we can register the student with the school in time.

In case a student travels with an I-20 Form issued by one of our partners without completing the payment, we will request his/her I-20 Form and course cancellation and all the implications and legal procedures that student will incur will be his/her responsibility. And the money paid will not be refunded.

  • Cancellations

Students who obtained an I-20 Form through us, have their Visa approved and decided not to travel to the US and cancel their course prior to the starting date, will get 50% of school tuition back. The rest of the school tuition and other fees are non-refundable.

Students who obtained an I-20 Form through us, have their Visa approved and entered the US and canceled their course prior to the starting date, will not receive a refund.

Students wishing to transfer to another school F-1 institution prior to program start, but after entry to the US must report to their school in person with the appropriate documents 30 days prior to their starting date in the new school in order to be transferred into active status.

Students can get a visa rejected with or without a reason from the U.S. Embassy, as they have the right of admission to the United States. In this case, students need to understand that this outcome is not up to us but the embassy’s officer. In case of a rejection, students have the right to make as many appointments as they want to, with the only added cost of $160.00 for the visa interview application by applying to a new DS-160 form. Students should notify us so we can provide advice on the topics that went wrong in the first interview, so we can get a better outcome in the next one. Another option our students have, is to ask for a refund, which will be completed in less than 15 days minus non-refundable charges.

  • No Guarantee

The client acknowledges that we cannot guarantee the embassy appointments at a certain date and time, which is all and only up to the US consulate or embassy.

The client acknowledges and agrees that the agency cannot guarantee the results or effectiveness any services rendered or to be rendered. Rather, services shall be executed in a professional manner and in accordance with good industry practice. Best efforts will be used but no results are promised.

The agency is not responsible for decisions made by any embassy or immigration authority regarding entry visas or visa extensions. The agency cannot be held responsible for any visa regulation changes which occur after the registration has been confirmed in compliance with the existing regulations.

Visa advice can only be given by the appropriate Embassy, Consulate or High Commission. Students should contact these local authorities to ensure they are allowed to enter and study in their chosen location. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the most updated regulations and processes are being followed.

  • Relationship

It is imperative for us that students understand every single step of the process and know all of their rights, so we can build a good relationship. We carefully review every student’s profile to make sure everything is consistent and all documents are properly filed with the schools, government and embassies.
